Styrene-divinylbenzene sulfonated copolymer also called Dowex 50W 8X hydrogen form, strongly acidic resin, is a fine mesh spherical ion exchange resin made from a microporous styrene / divinylbenzene (DVB) co-polymer with a sulfonic acid group. Styrene-divinylbenzene sulfonated copolymers are used in fine chemical and pharmaceutical column separations.
